If I am to visit handan,Jilin and Zhenzhou as one trip ,how wld I travel . Via Beijing or shanghai?

You can fly into Shanghai firstly. Then take bullet train to Zhengzhou. After visiting Zhengzhou, you can take bullet train to Han dan. Then take train to Jilin.
