About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Does a residence permit always give unlimeted entries/exits?

Hi, I just got all the forms from my employer to apply for a Z-visa but my employer tells me it is only possible to enter China 1 time every year. But as I can read on your website we have to apply for a residence permit after I enter China and the residence permit will give me unlimited entries. Is my employer confused or is it possible that I will get a residence permit with only 1 entry?

Hi Martin, as I know this permit works as a multiple entry visa during its validity. Z visa has only one entry, I think your employer made a mistake about this.
