Please advise what to wear in January when I go there.  Is Mt Emel open to visitors in January and what about the  climate?

Hi, at that time, it will be cloudy and cold in that city, with the average temperature of about 4-5C. Sometimes, it may rain a little. So you need take along thick sweater, overcoat and Long John. Mt. Emei will be open then. Don't worry! If you plan to visit the mountian then, I suggest you wear some warm clothes.
