About:Macau Visa Policy

Afghanistan citizen going to macau

I am an Afghanistan citizen working in shanghai and I want to go to Macau. Can I get visa on arrival?

Hi Sanjar, you can apply for a Macao visa upon arrival.

and one more thing, my wife is also travelling with me but her visa will expire soon. but she we are thinking to get an invitation letter(probably from a university) and then apply for chinese visa in macau. is that also possible?

I am afraid not, she needs to apply in your home country unless she is Macao resident. However, if her current visa is L, you can try to extend it from local PSB in Shanghai. Or you can have a try to apply though a visa agency within mainland.
