is it expensive to send goods from guangzhou to sydney?

In general, it can be acceptable. But the specific fee is decided by which means you post goods, by ship or by air.
For example, if you post through China Post by air, it costs CNY163 per km. And if it is by ship plus air, the fee is CNY126 per km.
