About:Summer Palace

Day Trip to Summer Palace

Hi, need some advice. i would like to visit the Summer Palace. Leaving from Intercontinental Beijing Beichen hotel. What is the easiest way to reach there by subway ?

after visiting the Summer Palace, i would like to go to the Aloft hotel at No. 25 Yuanda Road, which i read is about 5 km away. Can i go there by subway or take a taxi from the Palace ?

From the Intercontinental Hotel, you can go to Olympic Green Station to take subway line 8 and transfer to subway line 10 at Beitucheng. Then get off at Haidianhuangzhuang and take subway line 4 to Beigongmen. Get out from Beigongmen station, you can walk about several minutes to the Summer Palace according to the land signs. There is no direct bus or subway from Summer Palace to the Aloft hotel, you'd better take a taxi.
