About:China Visa on Arrival

Afghanistan to China

Hello, I'm an English teacher in Shanghai and would like my Dad to come visit. He is working in Afghanistan and I need to find a way for him to get a visa. Where can he go? How can he get one? Is it possible to fly in to Hong Kong, and get one from there and then fly to Shanghai?

Then your father can either apply for a China visa from the China embassy in Afghanistan or in HK.

No, he can't get the visa the same day even he uses the rush service that takes 2 working days including the submission day.
