How to get from Guangzhou East railway station to Dashatou Pier at 406 Yanjiang East Road?

If no direct metro station is available, please advise the closest metro station and walking distance.

No direct metro station is available. The nearest station is Dongshankou Station, but it is still about 2km to the pier. You can take subway line 1 from the East Railway Station to Dongshankou, then take a taxi to Dashatou Pier.
