want to travel on my own with my husband from Kunming to YuanYang what is the best route we should take? are there any local bus service or local tour bus to go directly from Kunming airport or any local bus terminal that we could buy the ticket to go directly into YuanYang. We like to stay there for 2 days only,and visit Lijiang for 2 days;our departure date is Dec4/12 from KMG airport

Hi, there is no bus go directly from Kunming to YuanYang. First, you may take a bus at Southern terminal to Jianshui. The bus runs every half an hour and the journey takes about 4 hours, then take a bus from Jianshui to Yuanyang New County(NanSha), it takes about 3 hours and costs CNY40. The road is not very good. And from Nansha to Yuanyang Old Town, you will need to charter a car, which costs about CNY10 per person. Anyway, the journey will be very hard, I am afraid it is not very easy for you to get there if you do not speak Chinese. Hope this information is helpful.
