About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

6 MONTHS PASSPORT VALIDITY PERIOD

Does the 6 month validity period for passports apply when ENTERING China, or only when APPLYING for a visa? My current chinese visa expires 10 JANUARY 2013 and my PASSPORT, 10 APRIL 2013. Thank you.

Hi, 6 months is required for applying for the visa only. But make sure leave China before 10 March.
