About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

travel to HK and then china on a single entry visa

I'm a parmenent residence in the US I have a one entry tourist visa to china can I travel to hong kong and still re enter china

No, leaving for HK counts an exit from mainland China, you can not re-enter again if your visa is single entry.
