About:Chinese Embassy in France

french people apply a china visa

i m from Hong kong,and my bf is french,and we plan to join my cousin wedding in Nov,what do my bf need to apply the visa to china?

is it apply the L visa?but we have not marriage ,what is this invitation letter?what imformation we need ?

L visa for Family Visiting: Besides the documents mentioned above as for tourism, invitation letter and the proof of kinship relationship (Marriage License and Birth Certificate) are required, as well as a copy of inviter's ID (Chinese), or copies of inviter's passport information page, Work Permit and Residence Permit (Foreigners).

SORRY ,MISSING SOME INFORMATION,the wedding party will be held in CHina,and my bf will arrive hk ,then we go wedding party though SZ,may i know what is the invitation letter,and what kind of doc i need to give him?thanks!

Your bf is not required visa to HK. For the visit to mainland, he needs to apply for one in advance, your cousin can send him an invitation letter, including his detailed travel information. Together with a copy of your cousin's ID.
