Hi, my husband(a canadian) will come to visit me(a Chinese living in Chengdu) with a 30 day single entry tourist visa. We want to change it into a family visit visa for 1 year with multiple entry. We are married for 2 years. Is it possible to do this without going out of China? How long will it take? and what is the requirements? Thank you.

It is possible, he can apply at PSB in Chengdu. Documents needed are your marriage certificate, passport, application form, photo, and temporary residence permit.
