About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

is it possible for a philippine passport holder to get a tourist single entry chinese visa in HK?

i will be traveling in HK and i am planning to visit beijing for 5days before heading back to manila, is there a possibility for me to get my chinese tourist visa in HK? i am presently on a trip and i will no longer have time to go back to manila to secure a visa. will the stamps and travel history in my passport which includes visa grants from australia, japan, and new zealand, help in my application? if it is possible to get a tourist visa in HK, what are the requirements, how much and where to get it? thanks in advance,. cheers!

I heard that Filipinos are not able to get a China visa in Hk before, but not sure about the present policy. You may call the visa office directly by tel. 852—34132424. The stamps and travel history in my passport to outher countries will be useless for your China visa application.
