About:Beijing Great Wall Map

Peace Hotel in Beijing to Wall

I will be staying at the Novotel Peace Hotel in Beijing and want to hire a driver to take three of us to the Wall. Which is the closest section? How long should we reserve for the trip to the wall, seeing things, and then trip back to the hotel? What is the weather like in that area of the country during November?

All of these sections are far away from the city downtown and I recommend you to go to Mutianyu and Jinshanling sections where there are a few people and more beautiful scenery.
If you want to enjoy the beauty of the wall, I think you need one day.
November is still a good time for visiting the Great Wall, so you can take pick a sunny day to go there. But it will be a little bit cold during that time, so you need to take sweaters and thick coats.
