overnight layover on christmas eve this year on my flight from Australia to London in Guangzhou

Will there be a hotel I can stay in overnight in the airport? Is Pullman the easiest? Will I need a visa to be able to check into the Pullman for the night?

Hi, yes. It can be a nice choice for you, but it is a little costly.
No need to worry about the visa, you can directly check in holding the air ticket.
