Weather risks at Mutianyu .

Will a visit to Mutianyu at the end of december will be too risky due to weather ?

It will be cold at that time and maybe there is snow then, so it will be risky to travel there. But the snow scenery is very beautiful there, if you have a chance, you can go there. Just remember to take thick coats and sweaters.

It is too risky for 2 reasons:
1. It may be too cold and windy to be in suburb and mountains. The severe natural conditions may threat tourists' life safety.
2. The Great Walls may be closed during winter except Badaling, so you need to check it before setting out.
