i recently switched my job adn have no bank accoutn yet and interested to visit china during the upcomign eid holidays , prior to apply i want to know if i can apply for visa without bank statment or what is the solution, will have my account in few days but have no time to wait because Holidays are ahead soon.

If you can't provide financial standing of adequate funds to cover your trip, then I'm afraid you will be not abel to get the visa.

What kind of balance are you required to show in your account if its just for 9 days?

It should be based on the rate as US$ 100 per day.
