According to the Chinese law, a person will lose his Chinese citizenship automatically once he/she gets the citizenship of another country. Thus, you will have to apply for a visa for your China trip.

As for yoru return to NZ, I don't think you will have any problem, for you have got their citizenship, right?

Hi Sue, you haven't understand What I said above. In fact, your present Chinese passport has become invalid since the day you got the citizenship of NZ. How can you use it again? At the same time, how can you enter NZ with your Chinese passport?

Ther is the possibility that you will be allowed to enter China with the present passport. Good luck!
