About:China Great Wall

Mutianyu and Chinese Aviation Museum in 1 day in Beijing

Will be visiting the city from Nov 12 to 15 and staying at Novotel Xinqiao. Is it possible to visit Mutianyu Great Wall and Aviation in 1 day by public transit ? If not, how much will it cost to hire a taxi to go to 2 places in 1 day ?

Hi, dear. Mutianyu Great Wall is in Huairou District, while the Chinese Aviation Museum is in Changping District. It is a far distance between them, therefore it is hard to visit them in one day by public transit. If you hire a taxi, the taxi fare is estimated about CNY800-1000 for such a tour. Well, Actually, if you want to visit the Great Wall and the Chinese Aviation Museum in one day, I suggest you go to visit Badaling Great Wall and the Chinese Aviation Museum in the same day. It is not too far between them. You can go to visit Badaling Great Wall in the early morning, then go to the aviation museum in the afternoon. From Badaling, you can take bus 919 to Shahe and then transfer to bus 945 to the Chinese Aviation Museum.
