About:China Visa Fees

Forget to register on Z visa.

I have visa Z but Unfortunately I did not know that I had 30 days before entering to China to register my self. When I was to Shanghai to the Hotel they told me that I am illegal and They sayd that I need to go to the police Station to register and pay the punishment.

Right now I am 100% sure that If i go by my self they will charge me a punishment of more than 10.000 Y and I will have to leave the country immidiately!( I enter on 21st March today is 9 october)

I ask for your help to see If there is some way to fix this problem without leaving the country

Hi, Z visa holders need to apply for a residence permit within 30 days after entry. You should better visit the local PSB asap with explanation that you are not aware of this regulation. However, the officers there have final say to this. If you don't know Chinese, you'd better find a local or your employer to accompany you to the PSB.

It's hard to say. You may be fined at least 10000 RMB or even be expelled from the country.
