I am arriving there on 14 Dec. Where can I buy warm but not so expensive winter clothing there? Any good shops around railway station and East bus station? Also, are the shops in Huanglong Road expensive? any recommendations for nice and cheap hotels around railway station, and is it cheaper to book hotels before arrival?

As for the clothing purchasing, Sijiqing Clothing Market is suggested. It is located on Hanghai Road, where you can get what you want. Near the railway station, you can find a clothing city named Sijiqing, which is only about 15 min walking distance from the train station. Around the bus station, the clothing city or shops can be found. Anyway, you can try to find some small shops nearby to get waht you want. There is cheap hotel near the train station: Home Inn is suggested. It is located at No.768 Jiangcheng Road, Shangcheng District. It can certainly be good to book one in advance.Nice day!
