About:Packing Tips for Traveling China

I would like to buy some traditional fabrics such as chinese silk and where to get in China

I plan to visit in 2013 - my passion is fabric and would like to buy some silks - which is the best city/town/market to obtain genuine prices/bargains?
Also - interested in being able to buy quilting cotton destined for US and UK - is there an outlet where I can buy straight from the manufacturer?

As for the silk, Hangzhou and Suzhou are two good cities recommended for you.
For the quilting cotton, Hefang Street in Hangzhou is suggested for you. But I do not know where to buy in Suzhou.
