About:Chinese Embassy in Malaysia

Which is the best alternative for me to apply China visa? In Malaysia, Hong Kong? or apply online?

Going to Shenzhen via Hong Kong. Staying in Hong Kong for 2 nights and Shenzhen 2 nights.
