Free & easy travelling in hangzhou

we are non-chinese, is it difficult for us to travel on our own. are the directions/sign board in english

It depends. In some scenic spots, there are English signs, but some do not have.
Generally speaking, it is not difficult for foreign friends to travel in Hangzhou. Many foreigners visiting there by themselves.
