Transportation information from wutaishan to taiyuan

It is about 190 km between the two places. Taking taxi from Wutaishan to Taiyuan is not a good idea for it is too expensive. The best way is to take a direct bus at the local bus station and the whole journey may take about 4 h.
Similarly, to take taxi to Pingyao is not suggested, either. About 339 km distance costs a lot by taxi. In addition, no direct bus to Pingyao, so you need take a bus to Taiyuan first and then transfer to another bus to Pingyao. The whole journey may take about 6 h or a little more.
