Where are you in HK? If you are from the HKIA, you can take the crossborder buses to reach Guangzhou directly and then the taxi to reach your hotel.
If not, you can take the train from Kowloon to reach Guangzhou East Railway Station and then take the bus (Huadu to Dongpu) and tell the driver you will reach Huangshidong Road and they will remind you when you arrive.
