About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

I am in China through my husbands work, nut we now have 2 year residency visas. Can i work on this?

Do you mean D visa? There is no restriction to work in China on a D-visa. But if you get a job, you should better apply for a work visa first then transfer it into a residence permit.
