Need advice on place to contain luggage while we tour Yichang before our departure flight

My family and I will be disembarking from our President Yangtze River 3 Gorges Cruise on the afternoon of 25 Oct 2012 at around 1 pm at the local port. Our flight departing from Yichang will only take off in the late evening on the same day at around 10.30pm. We intend to use the time in-between to visit one or more of the tourist sites around the city such as the Three Travelers' Cave or the Chinese Sturgeon Museum. My question is:- Is there any place or any arrangement where we can store / safekeep our luggage while we take time to visit these tourist sites ? We have plenty of luggage and it would be very inconvenient to carry them around. Would appreciate any advice / recommendations.
