is the consular section in kuala lmpur closed on 1st oct to 3rd oct 2012

Question

1st Oct - 3rd Oct is a National Day in China.  Is the China Embassy/ consular section in Kuala Lumpur closed  also?  As my husband is in oversaa now will fly back to KL to apply for his visa on these date ( 1st Oct to 3rd Oct )  .

Hi angela, the Consular Office of the Chinese Embassy will be closed from 1-5 October 2012. But for application, your husband should submit it to CVASC instead. The Centre will be closed from 1-2 October 2012 and will be operating as usual from 3-5 October.
