hi i am phd student kust kunming can i get machine readable passport from pakistan

my Passport will be expired in April 2013 please guide me can i renew my passport from Pakistan embassy or not please also guide about nearest  Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan of Kunming city of Yunnan province of R.R.Chinai shall be highly thankful to you. Yes, Pakistan embassy in Beijing, consulate in Chengdu and Shanghai issue Computerized Pakistan Passport. You can contact one if them for more detailed information.
