About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

what is the shortest period to process a travel visa to Beijing?

we have a roundtrip ticket Manila-Beijing for a tour on Jan 1-Jan 6, 2012.one of our companion friend will be coming from Alberta Canada and is arriving in Manila Dec27,2012.my question,how can she possibly get Visa to China for the Jan 1 travel which is short of 4 days processing time? or can she get it from Canada and how much will it cost her?

She shoudl get the visa in Canada in advance, since it's impossible for her in Philippines as a temporary visitor. It costs CAD 50.

thanks for d reply on my question above. i forgot to mention that d friend companion is a Filipino contract worker in Canada returning home to Manila and will give her children a tour treat to Beijig on Jan 1.Can she get the visa in Canada in advance considering her stature there? she's returning there for another contract on Jan 20,2013.

Yes, she can apply in Canada with her valid work visa there.
