About the Yungang Caves

I read it in Lonely Planet that the roadworks should be finished by now in Datong and bus 3-1 should be running again from the train station. Is it true?

The bus 3-1 runs from Xinkaili Station to the caves. It you go from the train station, you need to take the bus 4 to reach Xinkaili and then change to bus 3-1.
