willing to visit Hong Kong on october 2012 while returning home from canada . what to do.

going canada to attend conference on october 22 and returning 28 via Hong Kong.

Apply fro a Hk visa from the China embassy in Nepal ahead of your trip.

Today morning I have been to China Embassy in Kathmandu. They suggest me to apply directly to Immigration office in HongKong and they told, they will not receive application form in Kathmandu for first time. Now, How it is possible to apply in Hong Kong when I am in Kathmandu. I am going to attend one conference in vancouver and to present my paper there. The conference " Third International conference on Violence in Health Sector" is on 24-26 October in Vancouver. I am planning to travel Kathmandu-Hong Kong- Vancouver and Return back to same way. In the mean time I'm willing to visit Hong Kong for two-three days. I am a doctor working in Government Hospital and General Secretary of Nepal Medical Association.
Can you help me to suggest the way to get Hong Kong Visa. Thank you for your reply.

Yes, that is true you should apply directly from HK immigration department if you visit HK for the first time. Just mail your application to following address:
Receipt and Despatch Unit, Immigration Department,
2/F, Immigration Tower, 7 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong
