I'm retired and need to go to China for torism reason ,do i have to have work certificate?

No, you don't have to provide it, and you may provide your bank statement in stead.

Thank you for your response, but i have already submitted my papers to the office in Riyadh without the bank statement,will the office reject it?
If yes ,my other question is this:
I have several bank accounts, the one that my pention goes to is the lowest of all,because it's allocated for my daily expenditure.
Will it be possible to attach a bank statement that shows a good sum of money enough to support my trip or a statement that show regular income regardless of its amount?

It's hard to say whether the bank statement will lead to the failure of your application. Anyway, you can re-apply for it again if failed.

I advise you submit the one with a good sum of money.
