About:China Tourist Visa

What kind of Tourist visa does the Hong Kong China Immigration dept (Wan Chai) currently give?

I'm asking this because I'm aware that they change their policy every year. I have a US passport and I need to renew my visa. In the US I get 1-year, multiple entry. What can I expect from HK? 3 months? 6 months? 30-days or 90-days duration of stay?

Any input from anyone who got it recently would be appreciated!

It depends on what you will do to mainland China. In other words, the officers wii approve the validity and duration according to the documents you provide.
