do i need to call for visa appointment?

do i need to make an appointment thru phone to Chinese Embassy in Manila? or go directly to the Manila Consular Office and file my Application and pay for the visa fee? how long will it take to file the application and will i know the result the same day?

Appointment is not required, you can visit the embassy directly. You should pay visa fees when collecting passport. for a single entry, it is 1,400 Peso, and the regular processing takes 4 working days. You will only able to know the result when collecting passport.
