It meanders over deserts, grasslands, and mountains until finally arriving at its destination - Bohai Gulf. It crosses over  ten provinces and cities, including Qinghai, Gansu, Ningxia, Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Hebei, Beijing, Tianjin, and Liaoning.
