About:Chinese Consulates in South Africa

Can I apply for visa to visit Chinese and Hong kong together?

DO I have to make an online appointment for the Chinese embassy in Johannesburg or pretoria before I go see them to hand in my papers? And If I have to apply for both my Hong KOng and chinese visa at the same time or do the have to be applied for and processed separately?

You are not required visa to HK for 30 days with SA passport. For mainland China, please check consular district of Chinese consulate first, and find out which should be the right office to visit. Appointment is not required, you can submit your application on their working days.

You need separate visas to China and Hong Kong, but you can submit your application at the same time.
