About:Shanghai Dining: What & Where to Eat

does the restaurant have written english on the foods so you know what they are in Shanghai?

i am asking cause i dont eat meat

In common restaurants, you cannot find the English menus, but you can ask the waiters to explain how the dish is made and its ingredients.
Restaurants in five-star hotels have English menus. Western style restaurants such as Starbark have English menus.
