Im a sheep born in november of 1991 &my boyfriend is a snake born in october1989. Will we work?

As I know, it seems that a female sheep and a male snake form a match, which can share t he happiness, but not the sorrow together. Once they are faced with the conflicts, they cannot handle the relatoionship well.
Anyway, I suggest the snake be more considerate to maintain a long-lasting relationship, by which it can be a good match then.
