Hong Kong citizen going to GZ directly from Sydney

Hi, I am a Hong Kong citizen residing in Australia as a student and am planning to go to GZ from Sydney directly. I do not have the Home Return Permit and I am holding the HKSAR Passport. What kind of visa or travel document would I need to enter into GZ?

Thanks,
-fiona

Isn't the Mainland Travel Permit the same as the Home Return Permit? And one can only apply for such permit in Hong Kong and not elsewhere?
