My husband and I are two Seniors from Singapore who will be travelling to Jieyang,Shantou.Travel period is from 26 September 2012 until 08 October 2012.Can China Travel kindly inform us the climate and temperature to help us in our packing.Is Shantou in Shandong?Please suggest a website to enable me to gather more information about our destination.Are there budget hotels which we can book into?Any information would be greatly appreciated Thank You, G.L.Wee

It is a bit hot and humid with a temperature of 20~30C. You can pack T-shirts both short-sleeved and long-sleeved, jeans and comfortable travel shoes. Shantou is not in Shandong. It is in Guangdong Province.
