Passport expires in March, Do I need to get a new one before I go?

I am a Canadian citizen going to Hong kong and then main land China in November, for 2 weeks My passport expires in March. Do I need to get a new one before I go?

Hi, your passport should be valid for at least 6 months when you submit your application. So, you can apply for it asap now. A single entry China visa is valid for 3 months from issue date. Otherwise, you need to get a new passport before visiting.
