hainan to macao

Question

After Hainan I want to visit Macao and Hongkong. Do I have to travel to Hongkong first, where I reasonably have to fly to, or can I get to Macao and if so how?

Nope, you can go to Macau first as well. There are direct flight from Haikou to Hong kong and Macau. So whether HK or Macau is the first destination is ok.
