From the hotel, you can walk to Prince Edward to take MTR Tsuen Wan Line and stop at Admiralty Station, then take Island Line to Wan Chai. Get out from exit A1 and walk about several minutes to Gloucester Rd, you will find the Immigration Dept. It takes about 15 minutes by metro and costs HKD11.5. If you take a taxi, it is expensive. No need to take a taxi.

It takes about one hour by ferry from Hong Kong to Macau. The price varies for different ferry and different time. Generally, it ranges from HKD140~320. You'd better search the official website of HK ferry for details. For one day trip in Macau, you should not miss the Fisherman's Wharf, Lisboa, Senado Square, Ruins of St. Paul's. A-ma Temple. Macau Tower and Venetian.
