About:China Visa

Hi! I'm from Philippines, Intended to stay in Hongkong for 20 days as a tourist (departing on 18th

of December and returning on the 7th of January). I understand that I'm only allowed to stay for 2 weeks but my reason is I am going to Macau after Christmas ( Dec 27 ) and return to Hk the next day. Do you think the immigration officer will allow me to enter Hong kong on Dec. 18 with my ticket returning on 7th of January? Or do I have to apply for a Hong Kong visa?

It is hard to say if this is ok for entry the second time on the next day after you visited Macao. In fact, it depends on the immigration officer you meet. If he notices that, you may be refused entry. Here I advise to apply for a visa in advance if you plan to stay for 20 days.
