1. I am an indian citizen, a phd student in trondheim. I have offer letter to present at a conference in Hong Kong in Dec 2012. I want to know if I need to book an appointment at the Chinese Embassy in Oslo for single entry visa, or can I walk in with completed F visa form, from 8:00am-11:30am, weekdays, except holidays. Please advise.2. I cannot deposit my original passport with the application, as I need to travel in the interim period. Can i bring my passport back for stamping when the visa is ready?3. Where can i find the F visa application form online?

Hi, with Indian passport, you are not required visa to HK for 14 days. So, don't worry. F is for business visit to mainland China only.
