We will be traveling from Suzhou to Shanghai on 2012-09-28 and would like to visit some towns on the way, can you suggest the best way to do this , our group is 4 people and suit cases , any suggestions would be welcome,thank you

Do you mean the water towns ? If yes, I would like to recommend Zhouzhuang, which is the number one water town in China. Zhujiajiao and Tongli are all good choices for you to visit.
