About:Summer Palace

Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven and Nanluogu Xiang

Hi,

I am planning a 1-day trip for all above 3 places. What is the best sequence and how can I get to each stop, starting from my hotel Great Wall Sheraton and then back? I searched a few combinations but am getting confused.. help appreciated!! thank you!!

Hi, here is my advice.
You can take this traveling route: Hotel - Summer Palace - Temple of Heaven - Nanluogu Lane - - Hotel.
From your hotel to Summer Palace, you need walk to Liangmaqiao Bus Terminal to take bus no. 718 or 683 and get off at Summer Palace Station. After visiting the Summer Palace, you can take bus no. 626 to the West gate of Temple of Heaven and visit the Temple of Heaven. Once finishing the visit, you can take bus no. 2 at the same bus station and get off at Kuanjielukou South Station, then walk to Nanluogu Lane. After that, you can walk to Kuanjielukou East Station to take bus no. 701 to Yanshaqiao South Station in about 45-50 min. It is only about 200 m from your hotel.
